OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

As La Quinta by Wyndham Abu Dhabi Al Wahda management and employees, within the scope of Environmental Management System
  • To ensure continuous improvement for a sustainable environment by prioritizing our relationship with the environment in our activities,
  • To fully comply with national environmental legislation and to follow international legislation,
  • To ensure that our wastes are reduced at source in line with the National Waste Legislation and disposed of through enterprises authorized to process the relevant waste types,

CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

  • La Quinta by Wyndham Abu Dhabi Al Wahda Hotel is committed to protecting children against both general and sexual exploitation. We understand our unique position to help detect, prevent and report incidents of child abuse and exploitation occurring in or around our hotel. For this reason, the Child Protection policy is mandatory for La Quinta by Wyndham Abu Dhabi Al Wahda Hotel staff. Policy violations; leads to disciplinary action, including possible dismissal. In addition, the Child Protection Policy must be applied in all situations where La Quinta by Wyndham Abu Dhabi Al Wahda Hotel and its partners work. If there are violations for the collaborating institutions, it causes the cooperation agreements to be canceled and the relations to be suspended. In relevant cases, appropriate official actions are taken in accordance with the law. In line with this policy,
  • To provide environments/opportunities within the facility that will contribute to the development of children, where they can easily express their thoughts, wishes and feelings, and where they feel free and comfortable,

  • To add a clause to the contracts we make with our suppliers and subcontractors stating a common rejection and zero tolerance policy regarding general and sexual exploitation of children,
  • We are committed to increasing our guests’ awareness on this issue through relevant information and guidelines on how to report suspicious cases, as shown on guest notice boards and destination guides in guest rooms, and to be in constant dialogue with local authorities and child protection institutions in our region
